Now, we’re excited to offer an opportunity for a talented Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team at our Jesmond showroom.

About the Role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented designer who’s eager to develop their skills within a highly respected luxury design brand. As a Junior Interior Designer, you’ll work alongside our experienced designers to support the creation and delivery of bespoke kitchen and interior projects ~ from concept development and technical drawings to client presentations and showroom styling. You’ll be involved in every stage of the design process, gaining invaluable experience in high-end residential design while contributing your own ideas and flair to our projects.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Produce detailed CAD/Vectorworks plans and elevations under the guidance of a Senior Designer.
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Designers on both studio-based and on-site projects.
  • Conduct site surveys and accurately translate findings into CAD drawings.
  • Create high-quality 3D visuals for upcoming projects using SketchUp and V-Ray.
  • Support daily administrative tasks, including drafting emails, placing orders, liaising with clients, and handling phone inquiries.
  • Progress towards independently taking client briefs, presenting design concepts, and managing projects from concept through to completion.

Who We’re Looking For.

We’re seeking someone with a strong eye for design, a collaborative spirit, and a genuine passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces. The ideal candidate is confident, dynamic and hardworking. You must be able to work both independently and collaboratively and use your initiative for everyday tasks. Having a natural design flair is very important, the ability to pull colours and materials together and having an interest in interiors and luxury products is paramount. A Interior Design (BA Hons) Degree is essential for this role. We’re looking for someone who can translate creative ideas into practical, well-considered designs while demonstrating a commitment to professional growth within the world of bespoke interiors.
