We have had some exciting news here at M&C HQ, in the last month our super talented designer Lois Riley has been nominated for not one but two awards. Lois has been nominated in the New Designer of the Year category at the Designerati Awards 2024 Lois has been instrumental in some our most inspirational designs, and her flair for understanding the beauty of the bespoke and most importantly the clients brief, is nothing short of brilliant.
The second nomination for Lois is for the KKB Focus Awards for Best Kitchen Design. The design in question was the Stockholm, an exquisite contemporary kitchen with a Scandi feel, characterised by a contrast of natural wood and monochrome elements. Beautiful inside and out, with an array of clever storage solutions, a neat island with cantilevered breakfast bar, and wonderful built-in seating area, not that we are biased but you will admit, a standout space.
It’s always such a boost to hear it from some of the industry’s most respected and its just so lovely to be nominated, the ultimate ‘well done’. We also feel it’s important, when our clients choose us that they’re not just taking our word for it, but that people from all aspects of the design world, are saying we’re really good at what we do too. We are so proud of all our team and hope you’ll share the excitement with us, and of course we look forward to celebrating with our peers at the awards ceremony in City Central at the HAC.
