The Hoxton kitchen embodies our design ethos: bold in design, meticulous in detail, and entirely bespoke. With its sculptural lines, handsome palette, and carefully balanced use of textures, the design creates a sense of calm sophistication. Yet it is far from a showpiece alone it is a space built to be lived in, where clever planning and seamless functionality work hand in hand with beauty. To truly understand what our kitchens mean in everyday life, Angela, the owner of the Hoxton kitchen, shared her story with us, speaking so warmly about her journey with Mowlem & Co.
For Lois Riley, the heart of the project was about more than simply designing a kitchen; it was about creating a focal point for modern living. “The Hoxton kitchen is all about balance,” she explains. “It needed to be functional and hardworking, but also inspiring, a place that feels as inviting for daily family life as it does for entertaining. For me, it was about cleverly ensuring that function and form coexist while also creating something that feels authentic and inviting. To see that resonate with the judges is hugely rewarding.”
