As demand for our work continues to grow, we are delighted to share an opportunity for a talented Sprayer / Polisher to join our team.
A Role Crafted for Skilled Hands.
The Sprayer / Polisher role sits at the final, crucial stage of our production process. It is here, where raw materials become refined surfaces that a piece truly comes to life. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality results and has a clear understanding of what exceptional finishing looks and feels like. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for someone motivated by precision, quality, and the satisfaction of crafting finishes that elevate every project.
What the Role Involves.
Daily tasks are varied and hands-on, covering all aspects of furniture finishing. Responsibilities include:
• Preparation of panels and components, ensuring each piece is ready for high-standard finishing
• Application of primers, lacquers, and paints, using professional spraying techniques
• Application of staining products, with the skill to achieve uniform finishes across multiple panels
• Maintaining a consistent workflow and delivering finishes that meet the expectations of a premium bespoke brand
• Working with accuracy, care, and a meticulous eye for detail
Every finish applied in our workshop must complement the quality of the craftsmanship that precedes it. This role is essential in ensuring that every piece leaving our workshop reflects the standards Mowlem and Co is known for.
Who We’re Looking For.
We are seeking someone with:
• A minimum of three years’ experience specifically within the furniture finishing industry
• The ability to work consistently to a high standard, managing their workflow with professionalism
• A strong attention to detail, with a natural drive for accuracy and quality
• A methodical, reliable approach and pride in producing exceptional work
Experience within a bespoke, high-end or craft-led manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
