This April, Chelsea’s design community will come together for one of the most anticipated events in the design calendar: the Springtime Sessions 2026 at the Chelsea Design Quarter. Running from 28th–30th April, this three-day programme brings together leading designers, makers, and creative voices for a series of inspiring talks, workshops, and panel discussions. Designed with interior professionals and design enthusiasts in mind, the event offers a rare opportunity to gain insight, exchange ideas, and explore the craft behind exceptional interiors.

Taking place on Tuesday 28th April, from 2pm-4pm, “An Insider’s Guide to Creating Timeless Kitchens” brings together a panel of leading voices in design for a thoughtful and wide-ranging conversation.
Guided by the wonderful Carole Annett of Country & Town House, the session will feature Emma Wiseman of Mowlem and Co, Luke Thomas of John Cullen Lighting, and Manuela Hamilford of Hamilford Design, each offering their own perspective on what it takes to create kitchens that truly stand the test of time. Together, the panel will explore how architecture, lighting, spatial planning, and craftsmanship intersect to shape kitchens that are not only beautiful, but deeply functional and enduring. From the role of lighting in enhancing mood and usability, to the importance of layout, materials, and fine detailing, the discussion will move beyond a single viewpoint to reflect the collaborative nature of exceptional design.
